Welcome to BSA Troop 163

The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America—incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916—is to provide an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.

Troop 163 serves the Ballard Community School District (Slater, Huxley, Kelley, Sheldahl, and Cambridge Iowa) and is sponsored by the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Slater Iowa.

Troop meetings are held on Sunday evenings from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Slater unless otherwise noted. There are usually 2 troop meetings a month plus a camp out.
